What better way than to plant the seeds of proper solid waste disposal practices in our children early?
To cap off the month of January, Team Sinag Sta. Cruz has worked in partnership with Sebastian Lobitaña Elementary School to bring the Linis Kinis Program to its students. Kids from grades 1 to 6 were gathered in the covered court at 1 in the afternoon.
This program aims to teach school aged children on proper solid waste managament and disposal. Activities done were a brief health teaching, story telling about "Basura Boy", and games which further strengthened the retention of the said practices and importance of doing them.
We extend our gratitude to Mr. Renato Loyola, the school principal and the teachers of Sebastian Lobitaña Elementary School for helping us facilitate our participants.
Atimanon ang komunidad, kuyog sa pag uswag.
