After the rigorous process of canvasing materials and building these structures, we finally turned over our sawyer filter and solar disinfection stations.
Before turning over, the group held a short program stating the purpose of the station and giving thanks to the people involved in the realization of the project. The Bantay Tubig sa Tanan Committee were also introduced and took their respective oath. The members of this core group are as follows:
✓Mrs. Virginia Canono, Purok 3 Kagawad
✓Mrs. Remedios Villanueva, BHW for Purok 3 & 4
✓Mr. Renaldo Balbastro, Purok 4 President
✓Mrs. Bernadette Jayme, Purok 4 Resident
Afterwards the residents were made to try out our different stations. With so much joy and amusement, the residents said that our project made a difference in their lives. We are happy to know of the change we are able to bring forth in the community.
We would like to thank the following:
✓Mu Sigma Phi of the UP College of Medicine for the provision of the Sawyer Water Filter
✓Mr. Justiniano Jayme for helping us build the different structures needed for the station
Atimanon ang komunidad, kuyog sa pag uswag.
